Preps, cool, jocks, awesome.

So at my school, I think I'm considered to be a little, strange. I'm in drama, which is already saying that you're different. I also have truely insane stories about my family, which doesn't bug me talking to people about it. And people think I'll automatically be weird. I, think I'm perfectly normal. And here are some perfect examples of how nobody is "Normal".

These are all things people have done, people who are in the "cool" group.
- This one is probably the worst. When people are discussing things in class, two "cool" girls roll their eyes in the back of their head and suck on their lower lip. I don't know what this accomplishes, and I think they need some medical help. It really creeps me out.
- Another time in the same class, we were watching "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" The two girls were bored and they decided to throw gum across the room and make it in the garbage can. Of course it didn't make it, and they didn't pick it up. That's so beyond disgusting.
- One "normal" person meows in french class, for no reason. They think it's funny.
- "Preppy" girls always do their make-up in class. Can't they just wait 'til lunch, when all of them are blocking the bathroom anyway? Why are they so distracting.
-I have no idea how you can be so vain to block the bathroom while you stare at yourself in the mirror. I asked politely to pass by one time, and no one did anything. So I pushed my way through and everyone glared at me and said "You messed up my make-up."
- I can never seem to say the right things in science, according to a group of "cool" guys in the class. Anything that I say out of my mouth, the head poncho will mock me in some way. One time I said how the moon looked cool last night, to someone (NOT him) and he says to his friends. "ha huh, the moon. God she's so f***ing dumb." And his friend said "It really did look awesome last night." and he replied "well yeah. Shut up."

I'm so glad I don't hang out with these people.

Meditation.

I believe meditating keeps you sane. It allows you to throw out all that stress or negative energy about a person, or anything.

1. Get a quiet place. Like your room.

2. Lay down on the ground. Have your knees in the air, bent. And now clothes your eyes.

3. Tense up your right hand. Starting with your fingers and slowly moving up. Just focus on tensing everything up. Then rapidly release.

4. Do the same but with your left arm.

5. Do the kind of same concept. But with your right leg. Then switch to your left. (Make sure you do this slowly. Remember, it's meditating.)

6. Think of some place that really makes you happy. A relaxing place. Like, the beach. Feel the warmth of the smooth sand on your back. And the sun radiating on your face. Think of the seaguls and the roar of the ocean.

7. Empty your mind.

8. Now focus on breathing. Slowly breath in and out.

9. Lastly, listen to every sound in the room. From your breathe to the pitter-patter of raindrops outside splashing against your window. (Your eyes should be closed throughout the whole excercise)

10. Open your eyes. Slowly get up, and continue with your day.

Religion

"Mommy, why do we go to church?"

"Because, we love God, and we tell him by going to church."

"But, why do we pray every night?"

"We pray to show that we love him."

"Mommy, does God love us?"

"Yes he does."

"Then why doesn't he tell us?"

"He will tell us one day."

"Why doesn't he stop all of us fighting?"

"Because he is testing our strength, our devotion to him."

"Mommy."

"Yes."

"Why did he have to kill daddy?"

"It was daddy's time. One day you and I will die too and get to be with him again."

6 Years Later

"I don't understand how someone so generous and giving could take everything away from someone, just like that. To prove their loyalty to him. Like it's a bet. That seems like a selfish thing to me."

"Go to your room and beg for your forgiveness. How dare you question our lord."

"Maybe it's time you should."

At School

"I'm sorry I don't understand that word, atheism?"

"Wow have you been in a hole. It's the religion where you don't believe in anything. When you die, you die. You are stuck in the ground until the worms eat your remains."

"Oh... well that doesn't really sound like me. I would like to think we go somewhere afterwards, I just don't believe a lot of the things my mother tells me."

"Oh, then your agnostic."

Back Home.

"Mom, I think I'm agnostic."

"Oh lord!" She cries. "Please forgive my son for his sins! He is just a boy"

The mother then drags her only son, back to the church. She puts him in a confession and makes him stay there until he understands their religion. After that she puts him in a catholic school where he is beaten everyday, for having questions.

A day before he turned eighteen, he commit suicide. He was buried right next to his father. That was the day his mother stopped going to church.

Faulty Character

In the midst of it all, a sort of... quiet peace eases over me. And I laugh. I become so overwhelmingly hysterical I can't breath, almost choking myself. Everything is so pathetic, including myself. And I say this in the most complete un-pessimistic way. People are pathetic. I take a drag of my imaginary cigarette, and go into a deep trance. Everyone is so vain, and I say all of this even about myself. I am not the type to blame other people and prove their faults to make me look different. Everyone has their faults, with me most likely at the top of the list. But enough about me, since that is an imperfection in itself. Why do people need to feel superior? Even if it involves putting other people in a hole to get there. Is it out of jealousness? No, in my opinion it is out of instinct. But this isn't about anyone specific, this is in general. Everyone will do this at some point. And I personally, would like to get it over with as soon as I can. I don't want cancer, which is why I am pale and only smoke imaginary cigarettes. But in our society it is desired to be tan. Why are things so acceptable and desired so dangerous for your health? Alcohol has a high death rate. Which in my opinion is not acceptable. There are hundreds of ways to make you live longer, and so many people do stupid things because those are the things "worth living" but I believe there are plenty of other ways to enjoy life then threatening it. Well, gentlemen, I am complete.

The Good Night.

So my new outlook for blogging is to rate movies. Instead of crying to the world about my feelings. It's pathetic. If I really feel like complaining about something, I'll write about it in my non existant diary, mmmkay.

During the past week that I was gone at the beach, I watched several movies, most of which I had previously seen. But today I would like to discuss "The Good Night" with actors such as Simon Pegg, Penelope Cruz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin Freeman, and other assorteds who don't matter.

Martin Freeman (Ron Weasley's Father in "Harry Potter") Plays the role of Gary Shaller, a middle aged man who begins to dream about a woman, and begins Lucid Dreaming so he can control how he dreams. Of course, it ends up biting him in the ass.

Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead) is Paul, Gary Shaller's friend, who cannot be happy with one woman. He even admits later in the movie to only being happy when his wife is miserable. Funny character in a creepy way.

Penelope Cruz (In Gothika and Sahara) has two roles: Anna, who is the woman Gary fantasizes about in his dreams. And Melodia, a smoking model who is really rude. She only cares about herself. And attacks Gary when they meet, automatically not liking him. She never gave him a chance.

Don't even ask me about Gwyneth Paltrow's part. It was god aweful. She was so annoying to watch I just wanted to come through the screen and punch her. It was funny though, when every night she would complain to her husband Gary about something and right after she finished she would say "I love you" and they would go to sleep. It was so oddly funny. It was so nice when she left for Venice and we didn't have to hear of her for a while.

On average the movie was pretty good. Though the movie left me confused at the end, as to whether or not I liked it. It left me wondering about a lot of things.

Ugly Alice In Foggygallows by Emily Gehrke: A Story

Once upon a time, in a city far, far away, when we didn’t have plastic surgeons, lived a damsel in distress. For she was the ugliest being on the face of this earth. One evening, after everyone stopped teasing her, throwing things at her, and ignoring her she had enough. She packed her bags, and went on a quest.
Even as a little girl she had problems with her looks. Kids would often tease her with names like “ugly duckling” because she was just… unattractive, unlike everyone else. On long, rainy nights she would crawl under her covers with nothing but hot cocoa, a candle, and her diary. Here is one of her entries:
Dear diary,
Today was the absolute worst day!!! The kids were teasing me even more. They threw mud on my face and a girl named Rose said “Hey she looks prettier now then before.” Why did I have to look like this? I should’ve been on never been born. At least you can understand me, I can talk to you and you won’t judge me or make fun of me.
Sincerely,
The Ugly Duckling
Also Known As Alice.

After she wrote this she was found by the maid trying to hang herself by a fishing line. Her mom was so relieved that the maid saved her daughters life. Alice did not understand why this made her mother happy.

Alice now walked on a stone path that lead to a town called Foggygallows. She went there in search of help. Everyone was looking at her as though expecting her to come. They weren’t frightened of her and didn’t call her names. She found the leading man in the main cottage of the town.

“Pardon me old man, but I am in need of a miracle worker, do you by chance have one in your town?” Alice asked with haste.

“My name is Mr. Evans and in fact, we do have a miracle man. If you walk out of here, turn left, then right and there his stone cottage lies with the smoke emptying out of chimney.” Mr. Evans answered.

“But I must warn you something.” He gazed deeply into her eyes and paused.

“Yes?” She asked in interest. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a storm rolling in. Faster and faster. It started pouring outside.

“His powers are very helpful, but only to people that really need it. What are you in need of?” His eyes did not once look away from hers or blink. Lightening struck the tree just outside the window.

She told him what she wanted. It took her at least five minutes or so to describe all of the torment she’s been through. She headed toward the door while the man yelled. “He uses his powers for people in need. It won’t help you!!!” His voice was silenced by the door.
She walked over to the miracle man’s front door. She inhaled the fresh aroma of slaughtered pig as she was about to knock on the door and as a result, fainted. She awoke on a straw-filled bed with an old man breathing his alcohol infested breath over her body. His beady little eyes were just observing her. She assumed this was the miracle man.
He seemed to know exactly what Alice had come for. He simply asked her “inner or outer”. She assumed he was speaking of beauty. She spat like a wild boar “outer.” The miracle worker started mixing a few things, some of which Alice had never recalled seeing before. The potion was done. Alice hastily yanked the bottle away from the miracle man’s old broken bones we call hands. She then swallowed every last drop as if living in the desert with no water for a week.
She ran off to the nearest river without thanking the man. She lifted up her dress and bent down on her knees, to prevent her dress from getting dirty. Alice slowly bent forward to see her reflection. She was gorgeous! Her matted hair had now become wavy, vibrant, and a better color brown. Her lips were now plump, and as red as a rose. Her skin was soft, like a baby’s. She felt amazing, like royalty. Then she started her journey back to home, only to expect men drooling as she elegantly walked by.
Two days had passed and she was finally home. But she hadn’t got the reaction she had expected. Nobody noticed anything! “Maybe they just don’t recognize me” she assumed. Then she went to her house, her mom would recognize her and just cry because of how pretty and perfect her daughter was. Alice walked inside and said hello to her mom. Her mom grunted a hello back and told Alice to clean out the pig pen. Alice vomited in her mouth a little remembering the smell at the miracle man’s door. She got out of that disgusting thought and panicked. She squealed “Doesn’t anyone notice I am beautiful?!” The mom, bobbed her head back, confused, and answered back “I don’t know what you’re talking about dear, you look the same as always, same old Alice”. Now this startled Alice. She went to the miracle worker. He did the treatment, she saw how gorgeous she was, why couldn’t anyone else see it?
She went back to Foggygallows. Only this time she got there faster because anger was pushing her along. She stormed into his cottage and yelled “how come I’m not pretty!”

“Don’t you think you look attractive?” The miracle man told her.

“Well, yes. But nobody else notices anything different.”

“Maybe that’s because you were so anxious to show off your new skin to everyone that you didn’t even bother to listen to what I had to say next. You drank the potion and you weren’t supposed to do that. By doing that it gave you inner beauty, which I see didn’t work. You should’ve poured it into bath water and soaked for a half an hour to get the outer beauty you so desired.”

“This is all your fault, you selfish old man!”

“Maybe so, but it isn’t me that has the problem. You need to get the seven deadly sins off of you. For you are becoming them. And, as a result, becoming more ugly.”

“Wh, who are you?” Alice now feared for her life. There was something about him, and she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. He almost seemed familiar.

“Some call me a saint. Some call me evil. Really, it’s up to the person and the events occurred in their life. Do you believe I am Jesus, or the Devil? I could have been the one to kill Jesus. I could be a primitive form of humans. I could well in fact be a monkey. I could be death. I could be life. I could be the center of the Milky Way. I may be karma. I may be absolutely nothing. You see, you ARE me. And I am you. You decide what I am as much as you determine who you are. So choose.”

“There comes that pig blood again.” She vomits. “I, I need to be beautiful. I don’t think I could handle being ugly any longer.”

“So be it. But you only get one miracle from me.” Fate then vanishes along with the storm.

Alice ran out of the room with tears streaming down her ugly face. She cried alone for a total of fifty-two hours and got up enough strength to go to her same old house. She went in search to find a person or potion to make her beautiful, for thirty years. She even tried this new thing called “make-up” but that didn’t help much. She had never found a cure for her unsightliness and died at age fifty-five, all alone. People today say they see her ghostly image rummaging through their cupboards in search for a potion.

Kiss

Random Quote: "The kiss originated when the first male reptile licked the first female reptile, implying in a subtle, complimentary way that she was as succulent as the small reptile he had for dinner the night before. "

I need to find more funny quotes.

Life Lessons

Life Lesson #1

Life is not about your high school. Yes, if you want a career in the future you need to have a high school degree. But life is not about making fun of the fat girl in gym class. Or cheating off the nerd with the glasses in math. Life is about doing the best of your abilities and being happy with life. Putting other people down is just going to make you less of a person. Do you honestly like going home at night and know that you just put some girl in the hospital for telling her to eat some celery? Do you feel accomplished? Maybe that is your purpose in life, to be that person that everyone will remember in high school for making them walk to school everyday to a place where they will get harassed everyday, and go home to a father that beats them senseless every night if they don’t get drunk with him. Life is also not about going to parties and getting drunk because its cool. You know what is really cool? The toilet seat on your butt when you’re waiting for that pink plus sign. Maybe you wanted to have a baby, but maybe you also wanted to be a doctor. Now your whole life is down the drain for one baby. Babies are cute and adorable, but they are not puppies. You can’t just leave them alone for the day.
